Shoplifting
Security personnel at Walmart reported to police officers Saturday that two women had entered the store, took three boxes of Nexium, then fled from the building, bypassing the checkout counters. They said that the pair left in a maroon color Saturn car. Loss was placed at $71.04.
Vehicle burglary
On Friday, police officers spoke with a Leoma woman who reported that someone had burglarized her 2005 Nissan Sentra sometime between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. while she was at Pizza Hut on North Locust Avenue. Loss was estimated to be $71.
Vehicle burglary
Police officers spoke with a Waynesboro resident at around 3:30 Friday afternoon. She reported that someone had entered her car earlier in the day, stealing her wallet, phone charger, and blue tooth radio transmitter. She told officers the car doors had been locked. Officers found that the window tint had been chipped in one spot, leading them to believe that the culprit had used some sort of tool to break into the car.
Shoplifting
Walmart security personnel filed a complaint with police officers Saturday after they noticed that an ex-employee, who had been banned from the premises, had been shoplifting there. They said they made the discovery while reviewing security video. They said the woman had filled her cart with $396.32 worth of merchandise, then left without paying for it.
Shoplifting
A loss of $83.02 was reported by Walmart officials on Saturday due to a shoplifting incident. Security personnel told police officers that a forty-two year old Waynesboro man had been caught on video shoplifting.
